About Carlton G. McPeak

After spending nearly 20 years in the secular workplace, Carlton McPeak made the decision to devote himself to full-time ministry. For twelve years he worked as an evangelist helping churches in Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina, Kentucky and Florida. In 2009, he changed his focus and began devoting all his energies to spreading the gospel among the incarcerated. In order to achieve this mission, he has taught classes in several Florida state prisons, written booklets and study guides which he has taught in various Bible classes. He hosts a 3-hour radio program which reaches approximately 10 counties in north central Florida where nearly 10,000 inmates are housed in 6 Florida Department of Corrections Institutions. His latest effort is a work-in-progress where he hopes to write a “Through the Bible” curriculum that will take nearly 4 years to teach in the prisons. He is teaching this material in the Florida state prisons.

Carlton’s post-secondary academic work includes an Associates of Arts from Florida College (1976), a Bachelor of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University (1980), and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University (2017).

Since 1979 he has been married to his wife Rosemary. They have one daughter, two sons, and six grandchildren. All of his children and their spouses are active members in their respective congregations.
